Half Term Music Making Project
- This event has passed.
Description
Are you aged 10-15 and interested in co-writing and recording a charity single, this half term?…
Voluntary Action Epping Forest and Loughton Youth Project are offering an amazing music-making opportunity to young people to work alongside a team of professional musicians and producers to create a charity-release single!
Whether you sing… rap… play keys / guitar / bass / percussion – or would like to help in writing lyrics and other roles… we are looking for enthusiastic, team-playing young people with an interest in music to come and be part of something very special, this half term.
Learn from professionals and collaborate with your peers over a 3-day practical workshop that will look at songwriting (day 1) and song rehearsal, recording and production (days 2 and 3).
All levels of musical ability and all areas of musical interest welcome. Participants ideally will be able to attend all three days from 3pm-7pm at The Space, Loughton Library.
This project has been funding subsidised by the Jack Petchey Foundation. Therefore we seek just a £10 participant contribution cost for the 3-day project (payable on day 1).
Advanced booking is essential.
Please email an short expression of interest to: nrobinson@vaef.org.uk – stating your name, age and musical instrument / background. If you do not sing / rap / play an instrument but are interested in being involved – there will still be plenty of involvement roles for you!…
