Trainer: Nigel Barber – Volunteer Service Manager, One Westminster – Nigel is currently a Senior Manager at One Westminster managing the Volunteer Centre. He has worked and also volunteered in the sector for over 20 years, including being volunteer coordinator at Epping Forest Volunteer Bureau May 1998 to July 2000. His volunteering includes being a trustee for 10 years of Action in Mental Health in Epping Forest District and is currently an Independent Custody Visitor in Westminster. Cost: £15 VAEF Full Members, £35 non-member community groups, charities and social enterprises.

Falls are the number one cause of harm in the over 65 age group and can impact on a persons wellbeing and independence. This training will assist you with your day to day role of supporting people in your community. The admission fee for adults will be £4 and children are free. Light refreshments will be available as will plants and produce grown by the team. VAEF Ace Activities will be attending the Learning Disability Festival with our Ace Upcyclers display stand as well as our Singing and Signing “Hands Up to Music” performing on the bandstand at 1.30pm.
