Followers of VAEF benefit from a wide range of services available including:

  • Regular updates on funding
  • Tailored funding searches for organisations and one to one support with reviewing funding applications
  • Topical information in weekly email bulletins
  • Links to training available to the sector
  • Promotion of your services, events and activities
  • Support with a wide range of matters including governance, management, starting a new group, registering as a charity or expanding your services
  • Recruiting volunteers and bespoke good practice in volunteering advice
  • Networking events and seminars
  • Liaison and Representation – Enabling the local voluntary and community sector to present its views to statutory and public sector bodies through consultation, networking, forums and events

General Data Protection Regulations

Under the Data Protection Act 1998 and the General Data Protection Regulations which came in to force in May 2018 Voluntary Action Epping Forest (VAEF) is the data controller for information provided to us.  The details provided will be stored on a computer database at VAEF and may be deleted at any time upon request by emailing your contact at VAEF or ngavens@vaef.org.uk.  Your personal information is safe.  With consent your public contact and service details may be shared with a third party for example passing your organisational details on to members of the public enquiring about particular services.

  • Data will be held as long as you/your organisation remains a follower/opted in to Voluntary Action Epping Forest
  • The purpose of holding your data will ensure as members we are able to contact you so you remain up to date with local news, events and training etc. and receive referrals
